Scope Note: Catlin was educated at Yale (A.B. 1932) and Harvard (M.D 1936). In 1955, he joined the faculty of Cornell Medical College and served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. At Memorial Hospital, Catlin took on the position of Associate Attending Surgeon, working in the Head and Neck Service.
