Biographical / Historical

Zamarin earned his MD and PhD degrees at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at MSK, researching response and resistance to cancer immunotherapy and development of novel immunotherapy treatment approaches. He served as faculty and Translational Research Director in Gynecologic Medical Oncology at MSK for a decade before becoming Section Head of Gynecologic Medical Oncology at Mount Sinai in September 2023.
