Biographical / Historical

The Gynecology Service at MSK specializes in the research and treatment of gynecologic cancers. Dr. Alexander Brunschwig served as chief of the service from 1947 until 1967, leading MSK's pioneering and popularization of radical procedures for the resection of recurrent cervical carcinomas.
