15 cubic ft., 1946 – 1995. Contains records relating to the Society of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center documenting the Society's activities, including administrative records, calendars, reports, membership rosters, meeting minutes, correspondence, lectures, the activities of various committees, printed matter, photographs, scrapbooks, and materials related to various fundraising efforts such as benefits, dances, fashion shows, thrift and gift shops, and the Annual Appeal. Also includes historical materials relating to the founding of the Society and Joan Sutton Straus' research notes and a copy of her history of the Society. Volunteer Department materials are included as part of the Society.
